PT Center For Women

Michelle Landsverk, PT, DPT

Since 2001, shortly after having her first child, Michelle has been in the practice of caring for women. It was the whole experience of being a patient during pregnancy that sparked her interest in women's health. From labor, delivery and the postpartum stages, Michelle found that she had a passion in attending to the special needs of the female patient.

Michelle's expertise in orthopedics has made the transition into women's health quite natural. Her training began at Marquette University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. Since then, she has completed the osteopathic series of continuing education through Michigan State University, and she has attended several conferences on women's health. Michelle also graduated with her Physical Therapy Doctorate (DPT) from Concordia University of Wisconsin in 2008.

Michelle's special interests include the pregnant client and pelvic pain. She notes, "It's the uniqueness of the female body that demands special attention. From the female athlete to the working mom, every women wants to function without pain or dysfunction and my role is to optimize that without drugs or surgery."

Michelle lives in Appleton with her husband, Joel and their family. Together they enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including cycling, skiing and fishing.
